Ingleside Splash Pad Update

Ingleside Splash Pad Under Construction

The township continues to work with contractors in order to complete the final installation of the splash pad at the Ingleside Community Park. In recent days, the concrete base was poured and the water features were installed. Construction will continue as contractors work on connections to the drainage system, installation of a new water line, and final commissioning of the equipment. The Township will continue to provide updates as we get closer to turning the splash pad on for public use.

More landscaping construction is also planned over the next couple of months. A seating area surrounding the splash pad needs to be installed, and we will continue to beautify the park with accessible pathways, benches, and waste receptacles. The Ingleside Splash Pad Project was made possible through a $70,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, combined with over $35,000 in local donations and a substantial in-kind contribution by David Brown Construction Ltd.  It is a true community project that will serve the families of South Stormont for many years to come.
