Administration and Corporate Services
The Administration & Corporate Services Department coordinates municipal activities and operations so that they proceed in an integrated fashion. It provides policy advice and recommendations to Council and ensures that decisions made by Council are carried out in a timely and effective manner.
Each municipal department has a manager and these managers (6) report to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The CAO works closely with the management team to plan and review issues and activities to determine how they will impact the municipality.
This department is also responsible for all legislated requirements under the Municipal Act with regards to the role of the Municipal Clerk. Responsibilities include the preparation of Township Council meeting packets, proper recording of Council decisions and all other proceedings of Council.
